Hi, I’m Jennifer. I’m a freelance journalist from Dublin, Ireland based in Berlin, Germany. I work with Associated Reporters Abroad (ARA), a global network of journalists dedicated to enhancing foreign news coverage. You’ll also find some of my pieces on NPR Berlin and German tech news website Netzpiloten. I’ve also written for Deutsche Welle, USA Today and The Washington Times. Previously, I worked as a reporter and arts and culture editor at Village Magazine, an Irish current affairs monthly. I hold a B.A. in Journalism and German from Dublin Institute of Technology and an M.A. in Political Science (specialising in International Relations and European Integration) from the University of Potsdam. I also spent a semester studying at the University of Leipzig. Some of my interests include technology, new media developments, politics, security policy, technology, architecture and urban development, novels by Philip K. Dick, films based on novels by Philip K. Dick, Cadbury’s Golden Crisp and tea. You’ll find some of my published work here, as well as some personal blog posts.
